Location
The Centre for Appropriate Technology is based at the Desert Knowledge Precinct, south of Alice Springs.
The Precinct’s location is significant - it occupies the space where traditionally, visitors to Mparntwe would need to stop, state their business and request access through Ntaripe (Heavitree Gap).
The Precinct is a neutral meeting area outside of the Mparntwe ceremonial grounds, where Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people can come to learn and collaborate, in a culturally safe environment surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes, making it a perfect location for your next conference, meeting or training program!
